Frequently asked questions

  • Q. Can I see my score without an English test?Without a test score we show CLB 5, 7 and 9 scenarios.
  • Q. Is the last invited score a pass mark? No. It is the score of the last candidate invited in that round.
  • Q. Does having a spouse raise my score? If a non-Canadian spouse or partner applies with you, the point breakdown changes and your total score may actually be lower.
  • Q. Do degrees from outside Canada count?Yes, once you get an educational credential assessment (ECA).
  • Q. Does this work for Quebec?Quebec runs its own system, so we do not calculate a Quebec score. Its selection programs (PSTQ and PEQ) are listed with their official requirements under “All routes”.
